Teaching Vacancies

Donegal ETB advertises teaching vacancies on the eRecruitment Website.

  • If you are a new user, please Register your details on the eRecruitment website. Current employees are not required to register.
  • If you are already employed by Donegal ETB please use the ESS Portal ‘My Recruit’ option to view details of open vacancies and to apply for teaching posts.

Register of Substitute Teachers

  • Teachers registered with the Teaching Council (TC) for Post-Primary, FET or Primary Sectors may complete the Donegal ETB Substitute Form.
  • Teachers awaiting TC Registration may complete the Form. In the absence of TC Registration details on the Substitute Form, insert that TC Registration is pending. 
  • Insert Subject(s) as recognised by the TC or Subjects for which you seek to have recognised by the TC. 
  • Queries relating the Part-Time Sub Teachers can be directed to ‘recruitment@donegaletb.ie‘

Internal Vacancies

  • All internal Vacancies are advertised on our Staff Intranet via the website. Login with your Donegal ETB email to view this section.
  • Application material is in zip format and can be opening through Windows Explorer or by downloading and extracting documents.

New and Returning Employees

  • All newly appointed employees must complete the official Start Up Form. Please email startup@donegaletb.ie and the link will be sent to you.

  • All employees who are returning to work at Donegal ETB, after a break in service, must also complete the Startup Form.
  • Failure to complete and submit this Form will result in a delay in payment.
