Ann anois tá 16 Bord Oideachais agus Oiliúna atá in áit na 33 Coiste Gairmoideachais a bhí ann cheana ar fud na tíre faoin Acht Um Boird Oideachais agus Oiliúna, 2013 a cuireadh i bhfeidhm ó bhí 1ú Iúil 2013. De réir Céim 2 anois tagann na hionaid traenála SOLAS fhad leis na seacht (7) Boird Oideachais agus Oiliúna eile sa tír.
Le cois an dá ionad i nGaoth Dobhair agus Leitir Ceanainn anois mar pháirt do na Seirbhísí Traenála ar fud an Chontae seo faoin Bhord Oideachais agus Oiliúna ach fós tá an t-aistriú reachtúil leis na hoibreoirí iontu fhad le Bord Oideachais agus Oiliúna Dhún na nGall.
Cuireann an Bord Oideachais agus Oiliúna Dhún na nGall fáilte roimh an deis seo leis na seirbhísí ina iomláine agus leis an saineolas agus scileanna óna hIarionaid SOLAS (anois mar Ionad Traenála Leitir Ceanainn agus Ionad Traenála Gaoth Dobhair) agus le leanúint ag tabhairt seirbhís d’ardchaighdeán do Phobal Dhún na nGall. [lang_en-uk]Donegal Education and Training Board officially welcomes, today Tuesday, 1st July 2014, the former SOLAS Centres in Letterkenny and Gaoth Dobhair to Donegal ETB.
This move follows the 16 ETBs, which have replaced the 33 VECs following commencement of the Education & Training Boards Act, 2013 from 1st July 2013, and Phase 2 now completes the transfer of the SOLAS Centres to the remaining 7 ETBs in the Country.
As well as both Centres now joining the provision of Training Services provided by Donegal ETB across the County, the transfer also includes the legislative transfer of employees to Donegal ETB.
Donegal ETB welcomes this new opportunity to enhance its services with the addition of the expertise and skills of both the former SOLAS Centres (now Training Centre Letterkenny and Training Centre Gaoth Dobhair) and to continue to work to provide the Donegal Community with an enhanced education and training service.[/lang_en-uk]
