[lang_en-uk]This week saw the launch of the Co.Donegal VEC Peace 111 (Phase 11) Programme whose aims include embedding Restorative Practices across all second-level schools, youth organisations and Youthreach centres in the county. As Marrietta Herraghty, Vice Chairperson of Donegal VEC Committee performed the official launch, she said that the Donegal VEC are delighted to be involved in peace initiatives which are targeted at a wide range of groups and communities throughout the county and Cllr Dessie Larkin, Chairperson Peace 111 Partnership in the county spoke of the budget in excess of €4 million that has been allocated to help achieve these aims as we go forward.
