Donegal ETB Schools and FET Centres Remain Closed until September 2020

All Donegal ETB schools, Further Education and Training (FET) Centres, Gartan Outdoor Education and Training centre and the music service will remain closed until the beginning of the 2020/21 academic year, except for any special arrangements that may apply in respect of students preparing for their Leaving Certificate examinations, following the announcement by An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar on Friday 01 May of the Roadmap to reopen society and business – https://www.gov.ie/en/news/58bc8b-taoiseach-announces-roadmap-for-reopening-society-and-business-and-u/; Phase 5 applies.

These measures, including the reopening of Donegal ETB’s schools, FET centres, Gartan and music service, will only come into effect when the National Public Health Emergency Team says that the conditions are right for more relaxation of the restrictions in place to protect us all from COVID-19.

Arrangements in respect of business continuity for essential administrative services, including the payment of students and staff will continue.
