Donegal ETB working with Employers

Donegal ETB offers a wide range of Part-time/Evening courses across a variety of sectors which can be utilised by employers to train or up-skill their employees. Under the Skills to Advance Initiative and Skills for Work Programme, Donegal ETB can offer targeted support for vulnerable groups in the workforce, particularly those with lower skill levels who need more opportunities to advance in their working lives. Supports are available for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who need some assistance to invest in and develop their workforce.

Part-Time Courses

Donegal ETB offers part-time accredited training at QQI Levels 1-6 including vendor awards. This training can be accessed in a number ways including initiatives such as Skills to Advance (which provides funding), Skills for Work, part-time and evening provision.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process that maps skills and knowledge gained through work and life experiences to a relevant QQI award. It avoids duplication of learning as it does not require you to sit in a course to learn something that you can already do.
