The Department of Education and Skills and the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) have commenced a review of Senior Cycle education and Donegal ETB’s Buncrana school, Crana College, is one of 41 schools nationally and the only one in Co Donegal, selected to take part in the review.
Teachers, students and parents will have opportunities over the next year to have their opinions heard and to influence the changes that will be the outcome of the Senior Cycle review.
Parents are invited to a consultation seminar next Monday 10 September in the school at 7.00pm which will last for around an hour. The review offers parents an opportunity to be part of a shared vision for Senior Cycle and form a strong base from which to shape a curriculum that genuinely meets the needs of our children for years to come.
If you are a parent of a student in Crana College and would like to be part of the Senior Cycle review please contact the school on 074 93 61113.
