[lang_en-uk]Today Thursday 7 May Donegal ETB hosts its second Enterprise Day for schools and Youthreach centres across the county. This follows on from its first very successful Enterprise Day in October 2013.
This time the invitation to participate was extended to non-ETB schools with a total of twelve schools and two Youthreach centres set to participate. The day involves each team developing a product on which they will be judged in a Dragon’s Den type set up. Teams will be given a business mentor and a student from LYIT to guide them throughout the day. Representatives from local companies will make presentations to the teams on how to pitch a business idea. The final three teams will then pitch their business idea to all participants. The day will also include fun activities, ice breakers and team building games with staff from Gartan Outdoor Education and Training Centre.[/lang_en-uk]
