OFTEC Service Technician

Donegal ETB Gweedore Training centre will be running an OFTEC programme two days per week part time in our OFTEC registered centre in Gweedore two days per week over four weeks beginning on the 14th of November 2016.

Training Course Aim
The aim of this training course is to enable craftspersons, who have previous training and experience in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of light Oil Fired heating and cooking appliances fitted with pressure jet burners and vaporising burners, to progress and complete practical and theory assessments which lead to an industry recognised qualification. Learners can then apply for registration with Oil Firing Technical Engineering Council (OFTEC) to become an OFTEC Registered Oil Fired Technician.

Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will receive a: Accredited Certification of Competence (OFT/100, OFT/600A & OFT105E) which enables the operative to obtain OFTEC Registration.
