Donegal ETB is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Charlie Cannon as Principal of Errigal College in a permanent capacity with immediate effect.
Charlie has been employed with Donegal ETB (former Donegal VEC) since 1982, starting his teaching career in Carrick Vocational
School and later on a shared basis with Gairmscoil Chú Uladh.
He is a member of the teaching staff in Errigal College
(formerly Letterkenny VS) since 1985 and has held management
positions inclusive of: Special Duties Teacher, Deputy Principal
and Acting Principal. He is also well known on the local sporting
scene and has contributed to various management roles in the GAA at a local and county level.
We extend every best wish to Charlie in the position of Principal and look forward to continued success for the school commmunity in Errigal College. Charlie succeeds Ms Anne McHugh, the former Principal, who was promoted to Education Officer and now Chief Executive of Donegal ETB.
