Donegal ETB is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Anne McHugh to the post of Chief Executive of Donegal ETB.
Anne takes up her position from the 1st September following the departure of Shaun Purcell. Anne is no stranger to the role having been appointed Acting Chief Executive following the sad passing of MaryAnne Kane and prior to Shaun Purcell joining the ETB.
Anne hails from Ballyshannon and prior to joining Donegal ETB, Anne was a Teacher in Coláiste Cholmcille Ballyshannon. Her appointment in 2004 as Deputy Principal in Crana College, Buncrana was the start of her journey with Donegal ETB. In 2006 she was appointed as Principal of Errigal College, Letterkenny and in 2009 she joined the staff at Administrative Offices, Ard O’Donnell as Education Officer, which has been her role to date.
Anne said of her appointment “I’m looking forward to working with our many and varied partners in Co. Donegal to further the aims and objectives of Donegal ETB and to continue the great of work of my predecessors”.
