[lang_ie]Déardaoin an tseachtain seo, 16 Deireadh Fómhair bhí na sé Ionad Cumasóige (Béal Átha Seanaidh, Bun Cranncha, Gleann Gad, Gort a’Choirce, Leitir Ceanainn agus Leifear) i láthair don phríomhbhabhta deiridh do Masterchef i mbliana 2014.
Bhí beirt do na mic léinn ar gach foireann ó na hIonaid agus iomaíocht ann dóibh le phríomhchúrsa agus milseog a dhéanamh réidh ar bhuiséad de €20. Ba iad John Breslin ó Raidió Highland a d’obair mar chócaire é féin tráth den tsaoil agus Oifigeach Oideachais Gníomhach leis an Bhord Oideachais agus Oiliúna, Anne Nic Aoidh a rinne an mholtóireacht ar na béilí. Ar ndóigh, bhí jab crua acu sin a dhéanamh ach faoi dheireadh tugadh an bua do Cumasóige Gort a’Choirce le Cumasóige Bun Cranncha sa dara háit. Tuilleadh eolais ón nasc seo.
Tá bualadh bos mhór tuillte ag na sé fhoireann a ghlac páirt.[/lang_ie]
[lang_en-uk]On Thursday, 16th October the six Youthreach centres (Ballyshannon, Buncrana, Glengad, Gortahork, Letterkenny and Lifford) held their annual Masterchef final. Teams of two from each centre competed to cook a main course and dessert on a budget of €20. The final was judged by Highland Radio’s Breakfast Show host John Breslin who was formerly a chef himself and ETB Acting Education Officer Anne McHugh. They had a tough job but the eventual winners were Gortahork Youthreach with Buncrana Youthreach runners up. Link here to more mouth watering detail.
Well done to all six teams who took part.[/lang_en-uk]
