[lang_ie]D’eagraigh an Idirbhliain Lá na mBróg Aisteach istigh i dToraigh Déardaoin 10ú Deireadh Fómhair mar chuid de “Walk in My Shoes Day”, lá náisiúnta chun aird a tharraingt ar ghalar meabhrach agus airgead a thiomsú do St. Patrick’s Mental Health Foundation. Shúil scoláirí de chuid an Choláiste agus de chuid Scoil Náisiúnta Cholmcille, chomh maith le cuid mhaith daoine de bhunadh an Oileáin ón Chlub Sóisialta go dtí Siopa an Phobail agus gach duine ag caitheamh bróga aisteacha ná bróga nárbh péire iad. Rinneadh seo le haird a tharraing ar an choincheap nach dtuigeann aon duine galar meabhrach i gceart go mbuaileann sé é féin ná duine dá theaghlach. D’éirigh thar cionn leis an siúl agus fuarthas €200 do St. Patrick’s Mental Health Foundation.[/lang_ie]
[lang_en-uk]Transition Year students organised Lá na mBróg Aisteacha on Tory, Thursday, 10 October as part of “Walk in My Shoes Day”, the national day to draw attention to mental health and to raise money for St. Patrick’s Mental Health Foundation. The College’s students and those of St Colmcille’s National School, along with members of the local community walked from the Social Club to the Community Shop wearing strange shoes or shoes that were not a pair. This was done to make the point that no one really knows what mental illness is like until it affects him or his family. The walk was a great success and €200 was raised for St. Patrick’s Mental Health Foundation.[/lang_en-uk]
