(Comórtas F1 do Scoileanna) – Ghlac foireann de chúigear gasúr ón tIdirbhliain (Foireann Velocity) páirt sa chluiche ceannais don Comórtas F1 do Scoileanna i gColáiste Uí Ghríofa, Baile Átha Cliath le déanaí agus cé nach raibh gradam leo na bhaile ar an lá, is cinnte go bhfuair siad neart taithí agus baineadh an sult as a bheith páirteach ann don chéad uair. Bhí Gerry Diver, Manus Darby, Darren Doherty, Emmett Doogan agus Pauric Doherty páirteach sa tSraith Shinsearach, áit a chríochnaigh siad sa 4ú háit as 17 scoil agus bhain siad an-sult agus taithí as. Deir Seamus Maguire, a bhí mar mhúinteoir agus meantóir dóibh go raibh caighdeán an-ard ar fad ann agus rinne sé buíochas a ghabháil do Toni Kelly, an tiománaí railí as Leitir Ceanainn a thug comhairle agus treoir do na gasúir roimh ré agus rinne Seamus fós comhghairdeas le Coláiste Chineál Eoghain as Bun Cranncha mar d’éirigh go maith leo agus thug siad cúpla ghradam abhaile leo go Dún na nGall.
