[lang_ie]Bhí iar-scólaire, Brendan Boyce ar cuairt ar an tseachtain seo caite ar ais go Coláiste na Maoile Ruaidhe – áit ar thug sé ceardlanna éagsúla do na mic léinn ón tríú bhliain ar na luachanna a bhaineann le siúlóid mar spórt agus aclaíocht agus ar an chaoi ar féidir le duine leas a bhaint as. Glacadh go mór leis an méid a rinne Brendan, an tSiúlóir Oilimpeach atá ó Bhaile na nGallóglach, agus as é a chuid ama a thabhairt suas ón sceideal d’ullmhú atá aige do na Cluichí Oilimpeacha atá i Londain an samhradh seo. Bhí áthas ar Brendan féin filleadh ar an scoil fosta, áit a dúirt sé a thosaigh an Spórt mar pháirt thábhachtach den a shaol. Thug Príomhoide na scoile, Fiona Ní Teampaill ardbhuíochas do Brendan as an am a ghlacadh le cuairt a thabhairt ar an scoil agus chuir sí síos ar as a bheith flaithiúil, foighne agus inspreagtha agus go cinnte fíorshampla don mhéid a thig baint amach má oibrítear go crua. Guímis gach rath ar Brendan i mbliana sna cluichí i Londain.[/lang_ie]

Olympic walker, Brendan who is from Milford was well received and gave up his time from his busy training schedule as he prepares for the upcoming London Olympics this summer. He was delighted to return to the school where Sport became an important part of his life. Principal Ms. Fiona Temple thanked Brendan for taking time out to visit the school and described Brendan as generous, patient and inspirational and that he was a real example to all young people of how hard work can pay off.
