[lang_en-uk]Relay for Life in association with the Irish Cancer Society celebrates all survivors of Cancer, remembers all who have died from cancer and fights back and raise funds towards research. County Donegal VEC has committed to supporting RELAY FOR LIFE. As an organisation, we hope to raise in excess of €10,000. We hope that all Schools and Centres will organise and run different types of fundraising events from now until the official Relay for Life event which will be held in An Danlann, LYIT on the 26th and 27th May next. At Head Office here in Ard O’Donnell, we are beginning our fundraising events with a ‘Pink Day’ on Friday March 9th next and our second event will be a Coffee Morning on Thursday 22nd March.
A full and updated list of events from Schools and Centres will be available here. We encourage everyone to participate in what is an ideal opportunity to support a worthwhile cause. Cancer has touched each and every one of us in some way whether it is through family, friends or work colleagues.
