[lang_ie]Ar an Satharn seo caite , bhí an ócáid leathdhéanach den bhliain sa ghalf , Duais an Uachtaráin ar ndóigh, ar siúl ar Chúrsa Ghailf na Fearthainne agus Port Nua agus arís bhí an aimsir go hálainn. Ba é Michael McGrath le 36 pointe a bhí an buaiteoir ar an lá tar éis réiteach ar chluiche cothrom le Paddy McDaid a bhí an scór céanna aige. Bhí an tríú háit ag Chris Hegarty le 35 pointe. Bhí na trí dhuais dheirineacha socraithe an dóigh chéanna idir Éanna Ó Mainnín, Deirdre O’Toole agus Gareth Doherty a chríochnaigh cothrom le 34 pointe.
Anois, gan ach turas gailf amháin fágtha, tá an cuma ann go bhfuil an bua ag Paddy McDaid mar Imreoir Gailf na Bliana mar go bhfuil sé an fad sin chun tosach. Beidh an rás don dara háit níos teannta idir Paul McGinley, Michael McGrath agus Kevin Murphy.
Is scéal cinnte go mbeidh gach rud socraithe ag an ócáid dheirineach ag Cumann Ghailf Bun Dobhráin, ar an 30 Nollaig.[/lang_ie]
[lang_en-uk]The penultimate outing of the year was the President’s Prize held in Narin and Portnoo Golf Club in glorious conditions on Saturday last. Winner on the day was Michael Mc Grath with 36pts on a b.o.t. from Paddy McDaid. Third place went to Chris Hegarty with 35pts. The final three prizes were all separated by the narrowest margin also with Éanna Ó Mainnín, Deirdre O’Toole and Gareth Doherty all on 34pts. So with only one outing left it seems as though Paddy mc Daid is uncatchable at the head of affairs in the race for golfer of the year. The race for runner up looks likely to be a closer run thing with Paul Mc Ginley, Michael Mc Grath and Kevin Murphy all in contention for second place. The final outing takes place in Bundoran Golf Club on the 30th December.[/lang_en-uk]
